Gempump BRAND Type of SPGEM series centrifugal slurry pumps are cantilevered, vertical, centrifugal slurry pumps. SPGEM type submerged slurry pumps are mainly applicable to transport abrasive, coarse particle,high concentration slurry.
They are widely used in metallurgy, mining, coal, electric power, building materials,environmental protection and other departments. Both high chrome metal or rubber material are available.
SUBMERSIBLE SLURRY PUMP FEATURES
1. SP(R)GEM type submerged pumps are vertical centrifugal slurry pump, generally into the pool or pit to work,used to transport abrasive, coarse particle, high concentration slurry.
2. Don't need any shaft seal and shaft seal water, in the inhaled volume insufficient conditions they can also work normally.
3. SP(R)GEM type submerged pumps' pump body is made of wear-resisting metal. Impeller is made of wear-resistant metal or rubber, polyurethane SP(R)GEM type submerged pumps parts into the liquid with rubber lining,they are all applicable to transport corrosive slurry.

Vertical Sump Mining Dewater Slurry Pump Wokring Performance
The assembly is grease lubricated and sealed by labyrinths; the upper is grease purged and the lower protected by a special flinger. The upper or drive end bearing is a parallel roller type whilst the lower bearing is a double taper roller with preset end float. This high performance bearing arrangement and robust shaft eliminates the need for a lower submerged bearing.
Casing – Has a simple bolt-on attachment to the base of the column. It is manufactured from a wear resistant alloy for the SP and from molded elastomer for the SPR.
Impeller – Double suction impellers (top and bottom entry) induce low axial bearing loads and have heavy deep vanes for maximum wear resistance and for handling large solids. Wear resistant alloys, polyurethane and molded elastomer impellers are interchangeable.
Lower Strainer – Bolted metal or polyurethane for SP; molded snap-on elastomer for SPR.
Discharge Pipe – Metal for SP; elastomer covered for SPR. All wetted metal parts are completely rust protected.
